Introduction

The Design module provides a simple way for engineers to work on their designs. The aim is to impose a few key restrictions in order to create an organized and useful work space.

This workflow is best described overall by the diagram below. This next sections of this guide will take you through each step in detail. This workflow aligns with the core standard engineering practice, so it should seem familiar to experienced engineers as well as a good starting point for novice engineers.

It should be noted that there are various "escape hatches" and ways to deviate from this workflow. These are there to be used, but should be done so sparingly!
